We are excited to be able to return to the Wishing Well for this year’s celebration. We are counting on supporters like you to help us make this our most successful fundraiser to date!
Metamorphosis Award Honoring Maria Trabka:
This award was created to recognize people who have helped to create transformative change in our community. This year we are proud to honor Maria Trabka, the recently retired Executive Director of Saratoga PLAN. Maria has been the guiding force for so many important initiatives in her tenure at Saratoga PLAN. She has spearheaded projects that have transformed our county and had a positive impact on the quality of life for people near and far. From farmland protection, to trail initiatives, and most recently the Palmertown Range project and community forests, Maria has certainly created positive and dramatic changes in so many ways in our community!
Your Support Matters:
We have seen how important our trails and outdoor programs are for getting people out in nature during these stressful times. We are proud of our contributions to conservation in the Saratoga Sandplains for the endangered Karner blue butterfly and maintenance of more than 25 miles of recreational trails, but we are most proud of our exemplary, year-round environmental education programs for all ages and interests. We count on Wild About Blue to help support this work in conservation, environmental education, and outdoor recreation.
